INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF LEARNING

Share the magic of education

3 July 2020

West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, UK

COLLABORATION AT THE HEART OF THE MOVEMENT

The International Festival of Learning is a premium event for education and business leaders and teachers. It offers world-class insight through workshops, resources and networking, and is seen as a movement rather than a one-off event. People come together to champion a common mission - to inspire, support and help leaders and teachers be the best they can be. We hope you'll join the movement!

What's the mission?

The common aim is to create, support and develop the best possible conditions and cultures for all learners in all contexts across all sectors. We aspire to help all educators become the best they can be!

Who is the IFL it for?

Simply put, the festival is for all education and business leaders, teachers, tutors, support staff, trainers, business managers, lecturers and consultants from the UK and around the world.

What does it look like?

The flagship event is a one day cornucopia of insight and ideas delivered by top-quality speakers through workshops, keynotes, debates and demos (all wrapped up in a wonderfully informal atmosphere!)

SCHOOLS SHOWCASE

We have already secured examples of good, evidence-led practice from schools such as innovative use of Lego, China exchange partnerships, examples of excellent Governance, and more.  But, we're aiming to celebrate good practice from schools and colleges more than ever before at the 2020 International Festival of Learning.

So, if you have something you'd like to share, either as a static exhibition or a workshop or Teachmeet, please complete this online form.

The idea  for the IFL was introduced by a group of school and college leaders in 2015, which has since grown to become a large collaboration of education and business leaders who help steer the development of the festival. Many are representatives on organisation boards, or who have large networks (such as CEOs, Headteacher networks, Research Bodies, Associations and Charities).

As well as our well-embedded local partner schools, colleges and Trusts, We are proud to partner with companies and charities with national and international reach who recognise the power of mutual partnership.
