COLLABORATION AT THE HEART OF THE MOVEMENT
The IFL is more than an event - it's a movement, grown from an idea introduced by a group of school and college leaders in 2015 to a large collaboration of education and business leaders who help steer the development of the festival. The aim is to provide a hub for collaboration between education professionals at all levels, enabled by our steering group members - many of whom are representatives on boards and networks such as CEO and Headteacher networks, Research Bodies, Associations and Charities.

UNDERPINNED BY THREE BIG QUESTIONS
How can we create culture as well as curriculum?
Getting to the heart of an organisation - sharing proven ways to embed positive culture for long-term success
THEMES THAT EMBRACE ALL SUBJECTS
FOCUSING IN ON SUBJECTS
Although the emphasis is on the generic themes that span all subjects, there will be plenty of individual subject areas featuring in our diverse range of content. Feel free to suggest ideas!
OUR UK & INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS
The festival was born in 2015 when a group of education and business leaders came together to work out how to rethink a future of collaboration and innovation in professional development. Since then, there have been more than 300 contributors to the movement - with these organisations at the heart of development.
As well as our well-embedded local partner schools, colleges and organisations - we are proud to partner with organisations with national and international reach who recognise the power of professional development through mutual partnerships. Please contact us at email@example.com if you're interested in developing a meaningful partnership with the festival movement.
THE FESTIVAL IN NUMBERS
The flagship event on 3 July 2020 will be one of the largest, most diverse and high-quality networking and collaboration events in the UK education calendar.
